HP StorageWorks Partner Sales Academy
Bangkok Thailand, July 2008
 |
Event Overview

"Sell HP storage in every deal!" is the call to action by HP StorageWorks
to its Partners in Asia Pacific and Japan. Top HP Storage sales achievers were invited to the
inaugural Sales Academy for HP StorageWorks Partners held in Bangkok Thailand. This event is
part of a longer-term journey of mutual support and sales success.
A Unique Theme

The theme of the event was the formation of the NextGen Warriors -
the powerful combination of HP Storage and its Partners. The robot symbolizes HP Storage
and the pilot is the HP StorageWorks Partner. Together they address the massive business
opportunity for selling storage into the mid-market segment. HP StorageWorks committed to
support the NextGen Warriors and to make it easy to sell HP Storage in every deal!
Print out the commemorative NextGen Comic Book with all the key messaging about HP StorageWorks'
Goals and Strategy as well as your role as a NextGen Warrior - link at the right side of this page.

Objective

The objective is to equip top HP Storage sales achievers, the NextGen Warriors,
who will ensure both the Partners and HP StorageWorks are successful:
- Increase their revenue
- Become their customers' trusted advisors in storage
- Deliver value by helping customers manage their data storage growth, costs and risks.
While HP offers a full range of storage products, the product focus of the event was Enterprise
Virtual Arrays (EVA). This product fits with the market focus of the event which was to address
the needs of the mid-market customers.
Benefits

Partners benefited in several ways from attending this event:

- being aligned to HP Storage Works business goals and strategy
- receiving both technical and sales skill training to enhance their HP Storage sales capabilities
- improving their win-rate and helping to exceed sales expectations leveraging HP Storage

Aside from the business sessions, participants enjoyed relaxing fun activities such as a welcome
